Thank you for visiting my web site.  Please sign my guest book.
I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by.   When I was hired in December of 1987, I never dreamed I'd be here 29 years later.  I still remember my first day of teaching @ Ellington on January 5th, 1988; I was so nervous it was unbelievable.  While I was at Ellington; I put together this website to get information out as to what I was doing week to week.   I also posted forms to download for parents for easier communication / and to accomadate for the "lost" document.

I can't tell you how much I'll miss being @ Ellington and seeing everyone on a daily basis.   Ellington is my middle name.   I've posted a note on my "Bio" page regarding my decision to take this new job.   If you have time, please visit that page by Clicking Here.

I'm in the process of putting together something for my new position @ ISVI.   When it's up I'll get the word out.   Meanwhile, if you would sign my guestbook I'd really appreciate it.   I'd also love to stay in touch!  I plan on coming back to Quincy as much as I can to visit/and attend any events I can.   My e-mail will remain the same; so you can contact me via email by Clicking Here.

I'm know your new PE teacher is Awesome!   I hear he's really excited and very good!   Just remember to continue to always do your Best & Never Stop Believing in Yourself!  The only person that can stop you from accomplishing something - is Yourself!  As Teachers } WE Believe in YOU!

Meanwhile, Have a Great Summer, Be a Good Listener at home, stay active, & be safe.   Be sure to check out some of the links I have on my site.   If you all continue Cup Stacking with your new PE Teacher & you break some records - let me know, I'd love to hear about it!  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.  Thank you for the past 29 years & thanks for visiting my web site!

Mr. Mansell

What's Happening in PE Class This Week?
Records are Nice, but your Improvement is MORE Important!
Believing in yourself, & feeling good about yourself are the keys to success.
Self-Esteem / Believe in Yourself!
5, 6, 7, 8, ... How many can you do?
Do you know any Veterans?
It doesn't have to be Veteran's Day to express your gratitude.

As Americans, we enjoy so many liberties that sometimes we take for granted.

With all of the conflicts happening around the world, including here in the U.S.; It's important we remember the ultimate sacrifice that some our service men and women are paying so we can enjoy the freedom that so many people around the world are neglected.
US Air Force
US Army
US Navy
US Marine Corps
WE also salute our local firefighters and policeman!
We salute our veterans.
You will never be forgotten!
Thank you Veterans: Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard - Your Sacrifices are Appreciated!
VETERAN'S DAY
"Striving to be the Best at something is important; but More Important is doing your best and feeling good about yourself!"

-Mr. Mansell
Keep striving to do your best!
Yesterday is the past and tomorrow is the future.
Today is a gift,  That's why we call it the "present".
Remember your smile, it's to valuable to forget!
"The P.E. Man"
You're Awesome! Remember to Smile!
A Very Important Thing to Remember...

Make someone feel special and important; you'll win more than a friend.
Make someone sad and down, ...you'll lose more than a friend.

People will Always Forget what you said.
People will Always Forget what you did.
People will NEVER Forget how you made them feel.

Please share a compliment with someone today and everyday!

Lil'Jess Jeep Is Proud to Support Daily Physical Education in our Local Schools!
Physical Education is a Priority in our Schools!
On behalf of the Students @ Ellington, I'd like to extend a Huge Thank You to several Local Businesses for their continued Support!  Every year, they assisted me in putting on a Stacking event during Physical Education Week, which also extends over ACES Day each year!   These 4 would ensure at least half of the students (150-175) would be getting trophies or medals each year without any cost to the School.  Thank you for your support!
Physical Education Week is always - the 1st Week of May each year & ACES Day is always the 1st Wednesday of May and stands for All Children Exercising Simultaneously
